Educational Issues!
– This episode covers new vaccination requirements for 2008-2009 school year. Vaccines work best when they are given at certain ages. NYS law requires that children be immunized if they attend a childcare facility and when they enter school. The hostess went over vaccines against tetanus, diphtheria, and chicken pox just to name a few, and the grades – e.g., students entering 6th or 7th grade and children from pre-k through 9th grade, etc. The hostess also addressed the issue of young people, especially young men who are proud being fathers with no jobs. She gave some places they can go to acquire free training for GED, as well as vocational education. She gave some tips on personal hygiene and appearance when looking for a job....Watch today show for more information..... …
